9-1 REGULATION

Although beyond the title of this book, the picture is incomplete without discussion of the rights of customers against their own agent, usually an independent intermediary described in recent legislation as an insurance intermediary, for breach of duty as agent. In this chapter the language of the legislature is adopted and the agent is usually referred to as an intermediary.
