Claims: The Role of the Club

A. CLAIMS HANDLING

13.1 On the occurrence of an insurance event or potential event to which the member’s cover might respond, the claims handling service of the club will be brought into operation. The club can counsel and advise members, appoint lawyers and surveyors for the member and arrange security for the release of arrested vessels.
