These are unprecedented times for the world and the insurance industry. The past week has seen an international effort to ready health systems for what is expected and has already been seen in Italy and China, the decimation of the investment markets. Lloyd’s and most of the City have closed their doors, many sectors are being financially and operationally rocked and a wave of all sorts of insurance claims is due to hit the market.
