Aviva escapes fine by prompt response and payment scheme after making misleading statement

Aviva plc managed to get away without a fine from the FCA over a misleading statement that breached the Listing Rules and Transparency Rules. This is due to a "prompt clarification" of the situation and because it set up a payment scheme for affected shareholders.
