Following a collision between the plaintiffs’ vessel Thor Achiever and the vessel Global Vanguard on 8 March 2017, the plaintiffs commenced a limitation action and, on 25 July 2017, obtained a limitation decree in respect of loss or damage arising from the said collision pursuant to section 136 of the Merchant Shipping Act (Cap 179, 1996 Rev Ed).
