FCA calls on Google to tackle minibond ads as it imposes permanent retail ban

The FCA has urged Google and other online platforms to do more to stamp out misleading adverts — as part of its work in tackling the sale of speculative minibonds. The regulator has just announced that it is extending and making permanent a ban on the mass-marketing of speculative illiquid securities (such as minibonds) to retail investors.
