WR Berkley swings to black on underwriting and investment gains
US commercial property/casualty group WR Berkley swung to first-quarter net earnings of $229.5m from a loss of $4.4m, reflecting
record quarterly underwriting income of $182.6m and a positive $212m swing in realised and unrealised investment gains.
