Joint meeting of the ISSB and the IASB

In 2023, the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) embarked on its first agenda consultation, and in the last four months of the year, it began to consider the feedback. In January 2024, IASB and ISSB members gathered together around the board table in London for the first time to discuss some of the feedback on matters of mutual interest, notably, integration in reporting and connectivity. Although this was not a decision-making meeting as the two boards will meet separately to take their own decisions, members' comments gave some pointers to the likely direction of travel.
