Infringement is a luxury eBay can’t afford

Recently eBay’s business model has encountered legal opposition in France in relation to trademark rights. The number of proceedings against eBay is small, but Louis Vuitton can be considered as leading the select band of trademark owners who have dared to sue eBay. This February saw another (but certainly not the last) development in the battle pitching the luxury products manufacturer against the auction website.
