Coal addiction spoiling EU’s climate efforts, new report reveals

Carbon emissions from coal power plants in the EU are undermining the EU’s attempts to meet climate obligations, according to the “Europe’s Dirty 30” report released this week by five major environmental organisations – CAN [Climate Action Network] Europe, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), the Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL) and Climate Alliance Germany.
