Astareal safety not proven, says EFSA
Two astaxanthin-rich novel food ingredients (NFIs) AstaREAL
A1010 and AstaREAL L10 have had the thumbs down from the European Food Safety
Authority, which concluded in an opinion published last week that safety had
not been established.
