Another
genetically modified strain of the food enzyme lipase (triacylglycerol
lipase; EC 3.1.1.3) produced with
Aspergillus oryzae (
A. oryzae), NZYM-AL,
has received the green light from the European
Food Safety Authority’s Panel on Food Contact
Materials, Enzymes, Flavourings and Processing Aids (CEF).
