R (on the application of Charlesworth) v Crossrail Ltd [2019] EWCA Civ 1118 (3 July 2019)

We mention this case in brief to raise awareness as it concerns the compulsory purchase of a lease of business premises, the surface of which later became surplus to requirements and was to be disposed of. At issue were the rights of the former tenant and the rights of a former freeholder.
