Nurses at risk of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Regular use of chemical disinfectants among nurses may be a risk factor for developing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
(COPD), according to new research. The study, published in JAMA Network Open, examined a possible association between exposure
to disinfectants and cleaning products at work and risk of new cases of COPD among a large group of female nurses.
