CHAUCER SWOOPS ON SWISS RE FOR CHIEF UNDERWRITING OFFICER

Chaucer has appointed Nicola Stacey as its chief underwriting officer (CUO), with responsibility for developing and executing the Lloyd’s carrier’s underwriting strategy. John Fowle, who holds both the chief executive and CUO roles at Chaucer at present, will now focus purely on the chief executive role. Stacey joins from Swiss Re Europe, where she was managing director with responsibility for risk management globally for the property/casualty reinsurance business.
