CAFC ruling ‘may open 101 floodgates’

The Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) hasdemanded an en banc rehearing of a
Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) case, saying the court’s
decision “may open the floodgates to section 101 challenges to mechanical
inventions”.
