Number of cigarette smokers in US at all-time low
The US has reported an all-time low of 13.7 per cent in the number of US adults smoking cigarettes in 2018. This represents
a decline of approximately two-thirds in the more than 50 years since the first US Surgeon General’s report warned of the
health consequences of smoking.
