Stop ‘polarising’WIPO DG election, candidate pleads

The current World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) patent law division director and Colombia’s pick to replace director general (DG) Francis Gurry, Marco Aleman, warned that the IP community, WIPO’s member states, and even staff, can suffer the consequence of an adverse result stemming from polarising sentiments from parties.
