TIGERRISK NAMES COOPER AS HEAD OF CAPITAL ADVISORY
Reinsurance broker and capital manager TigerRisk Partners has appointed William Cooper to the newly created post of managing director and head of capital advisory to help clients optimise capital and financing structures. He will be based in London and report to James Few, chief executive of TigerRisk UK. Cooper joins from Lloyds Bank, where he served for more than 30 years, most recently as managing director of insurance and specialist finance. Connecticut-based TigerRisk has also named Christopher Conway to a newly created senior role across its reinsurance and retrocessional teams. He will be based in Bermuda and joins from Neon Underwriting Bermuda, where he served as a senior vice-president and helped create a new portfolio of property catastrophe, per risk and retrocession business.
