The US-China trade deal reveals a rosy future for the credit rating industry

In recent months there have been a number of instances within the business press regarding the established and leading credit rating agencies (CRAs) defending themselves against criticism. Those familiar with the leading credit rating agencies and how they operate will know, particularly in the field of the media, that this is somewhat unusual. However, there may be a particular reason for this change in behaviour, and in this article we will see that it is linked to a massively important geopolitical development.
