Covid test case on business interruption cover due for July hearing

The Financial Conduct Authority hopes thatits ‘business interruption cover’ test case will be heard by the High Court over five-to-ten days in the secondhalf of July. Involving a broad range of arguments, based on policy wordingsfrom 16 insurers and reinsurers, the case is intended to “achieve clarity forall concerned in an unprecedented situation”, according to the regulator.
