AMANDA BLANC NAMED CEO OF AVIVA

UK insurer Aviva has appointed Amanda Blanc as chief executive officer with immediate effect. She replaces Maurice Tulloch, who stepped down on Monday and retired from his position on the Aviva board for family health reasons. Blanc is currently an independent non-executive director at Aviva plc. Previously she was chief executive for the EMEA region at Zurich Insurance and has served as chair of the Association of British Insurers and president of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
