OsborneClarke’s Nick Kempton discusses the first substantive decision dealing with video game ‘cheats’

Cheats used to be a fun quirk included by game developers toleave their personal stamp. Players could access these with built-incryptic passcodes, which were circulated in video game magazines. These typesof deviations from the traditional in-game experience were thought to beadditional fun for players to further explore and enjoy (and who doesn’t recallthe fun of playing Goldeneye with Big Head Mode enabled!).
