Firms warned over market volatility and financial services disruption on EU departure

Banks and other firms regulated by the Prudential Regulation Authority have been warned about the final steps they need to take to be ready for "some market volatility and disruption to financial services... [which] could arise" in relation to the United Kingdom's final departure from the European Union on 31 December. This includes payment systems, retail and wholesale banking.
