CITMA 2020: gov delivering ‘necessary’ law changes

UK minister responsible for IP tells CITMA Autumn conference attendees that the government ‘made sure’ IP protections were put in place post-transition period for Brexit to maintain UK’s strong IP environment

UK IP minister Amanda Solloway has revealed that her team are “working hard with colleagues across government” to have a solution in place for issues relating to ‘address for service’ (AfS) rules, following outcry from UK IP groups seeking a level playing field post-transition period.
