Kevin ENoonan says the magnitude and severity of Covid-19 has had a profound effect onUS patent law, the judiciary and the USPTO, and will continue to do so

Thisyear will be remembered by the pandemic experience of Covid-19. It is the most serious worldwide infectiousevent since the influenza pandemic of 1918; while the number of infections anddeaths has not reached the level of that pandemic, improvements ininternational travel and trade (not to mention social media, for good and ill)has raised the risks as well as the appreciation of these risks throughout theworld.
