WHO DG cautions against ‘vaccine nationalism’

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus predicts price hikes in Covid-19 vaccines unless fair access is achieved

Richer nations appear to have “bought up the majority of the supply of multiple Covid-19 vaccines”, the World Health Organization (WHO) director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has revealed, urging vaccine manufacturers to “prioritise supply and rollout” through the fair and equitable access COVAX scheme.
