Back in the golden autumnal days of September 2020, recalls Sue Grossey, I wrote an article for you about National Risk Assessments. [1] At the time I was waiting breathlessly for the third iteration of the UK’s own NRA – with the first appearing in October 2015 and the second in October 2017, we were surely long overdue – and on 17 December 2020 I received an early Christmas present from HM Treasury and the Home Office: the “National risk assessment of money laundering and terrorist financing 2020”.
