Settlement of £215,000 for vehicle collision injury

A man injured after a head-on collision has received a settlement of £215,000. The man, a tipper truck driver, was seriously injured when his truck was hit head-on by another vehicle. He suffered fractures to all four limbs and extensive skin damage which has left him with permanent scarring. Although in his 60s, he had several years of his working life left but has only been able to return to employment in a very limited capacity.
