Association of Costs Lawyers surveys members

Costs lawyers are busier than ever despite Covid-19, according to the annual survey carried out by the Association of Costs Lawyers (ACL). The survey revealed that 37 per cent said they were busier than ever since the pandemic struck, while for 38 per cent it had not made much difference to their practice, and just 15 per cent said work had dropped off. It also found that one in six (17 per cent) costs lawyers said that solicitors were paying their bills more slowly.
