M&A SPECIALIST HEINZ JOINS LOCKTON

Lockton has appointed Matt Heinz as a partner in its transaction liability practice. Heinz, a mergers and acquisitions (M&A) insurance specialist, will co-lead the group with partners Josh Halpern, Eric Ziff and Gaurav Sud who joined Lockton last year. He most recently served as a senior managing director and co-practice leader of Aon’s North American transaction liability team, where he previously partnered with Halpern, Ziff and Sud in building out a practice that facilitated the wide-scale adoption of insurance products that augment M&A deals. He has more than a decade of experience in transaction liability insurance. Before his career in insurance, Heinz was a corporate attorney at law firm Proskauer Rose.
