No disadvantages must remain for vulnerable customers, under final guidance

The FCA has published final guidance that aims to ensure vulnerable consumers “are consistently able to achieve outcomes that are as good as everybody else”. It applies “through the whole customer journey”, and also extends to disability and other issues under the Equality Act 2010. To strengthen this part of its remit, the FCA simultaneously published the Memorandum of Understanding that it signed on 19 February with the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
