FCA to run more post-authorisation checks as part of transformation plan

The FCA is to put more emphasis oncontinuing scrutiny of firms rather than assuming that they remain compliantonce they have been authorised. This change of approach was announced by the FinancialConduct Authority chair Charles Randell in a speech where he discussed theregulator’s transformation.
