ASTON LARK CREATES INTEGRATION ROLE

Insurance broker Aston Lark has appointed Bethan Jones to the newly created role of integration director. In the new role, Jones will take responsibility for overseeing the successful integration of all of Aston Lark’s acquisitions. Jones, who joined Aston Lark’s board in 2019, will also continue with her current responsibility for the group’s data and analytics capability. Goldman Sachs-backed Aston Lark has been on an acquisition spree. In March, the broker acquired North County Brokers in Ireland, Venture Insurance Brokers in Bristol and Scottish broker, Bruce Stevenson. Peter Blanc, Aston Lark chief executive officer, said: “It is however absolutely vital that we don’t just ‘collect brokers’ but instead carefully plan and integrate each acquisition so that it truly feels part of Aston Lark and enables both the vendors and the rest of Aston Lark to benefit fully from joining forces.”
