Compulsory vaccinations
The UK Government is considering compulsory Covid-19 vaccinations for healthcare workers in order to protect patients. This
is not particularly controversial because medical students and doctors are already required to have vaccinations against Hepatitis
B. However, although many frontline healthcare workers are required to have the hepatitis B vaccine, this does not involve
the operation of a specific statutory requirement.
