£10 billion-plus class action against Mastercard approved by court

Reuters has reported that a London court has approved a 
£10 billion-plus class action against global payments processor Mastercard. The news agency said that claimants believe it could entitle 46 million British adults to roughly £300 each if it is successful. It is believed it will be the UK’s biggest class action lawsuit.
