Almost a quarter of people in the UK (24.6 per cent*) have suffered a serious injury in the past five years. The most commonly
occurring injuries are slips, trips and falls (51.6 per cent), followed by road traffic accidents (31.7 per cent) and sports-related
injuries (29.7 per cent) – all of which have the potential to completely change the life of the injured party.
