HOWDEN CEO: FACE TO FACE WORKING STILL VITAL FOR HYBRID WORKING SUCCESS

The chief executive of Howden Insurance Brokers has stressed the importance of face-to-face working as insurers and brokers return to London following the pandemic. Speaking to Insurance Day, Andy Bragoli, said the post-pandemic return to the office is part of an evolving flexible working model, which was already in place before Covid-19 but has now been accelerated by the pandemic. “Flexibility is of course a vital component to that too, supporting a better work-life balance and making work more productive in many cases,” Bragoli said. “Ultimately, our clients’ needs and the reaction of our markets are central to the choices we make; we have all managed amazingly well using video calls as our communication platform, but as the world opens up, we are all quickly realising the added value of actually meeting clients and insurers.”
