Axis and Everest shares rise despite cat losses
Axis Capital (+5.6%) and Everest Re (+4.8%) were among the best-performing insurance stocks in the week to October 20, as
the Bermudian firms estimated third-quarter losses of $250m and $635m respectively from Hurricane Ida and European floods.
