Binance is first crypto exchange to pay AML fine, of 8m lira, in Turkey

BNTeknoloji, the Turkish arm of Binance, the world’s leading cryptocurrencyexchange [1], has been fined 8 million lira (approximately US$702,000) afterthe Financial Crime Investigation Board (MASAK), Turkey’s financialintelligence unit, found deficiencies in its anti-money laundering controls.
