The claimant was the owner of the vessel Joker that carried a cargo of 53,222.24 mt of soya bean meal in bulk from Brazil to Chittagong, Bangladesh under bills of lading on the Congenbill 1994 form. The bills of lading incorporated a London arbitration clause from the relevant voyage charterparty.
