Mortgage – Enforcement – Mortgagee seeking to enforce mortgage of motor yacht – Whether limit of €5 million applied to total claim including interest costs and expenses or only to principal amount guaranteed

This was the trial of an action in rem which the claimant, Qatar National Bank, sought to enforce a mortgage on the motor yacht Force India . The yacht had been arrested in January 2018 for non-payment of crew wages, and remained under arrest in Southampton. Judgment in default was obtained in May 2018.
