AM Best turns positive on WR Berkley

Ratings reflect the group’s balance sheet strength and strong operating performance, AM Best says

AM Best has affirmed the “a-” (excellent) long-term issuer credit rating of US commercial re/insurer WR Berkley Corp and the “aa-” (superior) long-term issuer credit ratings and A+ (superior) financial strength ratings of its operating units and revised the outlooks on those ratings to positive from stable.
