2.1 Introduction: Enforceability of non-ICSID awards (the New York Convention)
The New York Convention is a successor to the Convention on the Execution of Foreign Arbitral Awards and the Geneva Convention (which concerned the execution of foreign awards, having been drafted by the International Chamber of Commerce in 1927).1
