Laytime - Delay in discharging cargo - Whether delay attributable to owners or charterers - Effect of delay on owners' claim for demurrage

The vessel was chartered by disponent owners on an amended Austwheat 1990 voyage form for the carriage of a cargo of sunflower seeds from Gladstone, Australia, to Bin Qasim. The cargo was to be discharged at the average rate of 2,500 metric tons per weather working day of 24 consecutive hours (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted, even if used).
