Charter-party period to be calculated by reference to GMT

The owners claimed for balance of hire, the matter in issue being whether or not the duration of the charter-party period should be calculated on the actual time of service by way of reference to Greenwich Mean Time rather than by taking the local times of delivery and redelivery for such purpose. On the latter approach the owners’ claim succeeded in full, otherwise it failed completely.
