Security for costs granted for 100% of estimate future costs of trial

On the 28th day of a hearing defendants applied for further security for costs. This was the third such application. The first application had been in respect of costs up to the date of setting down for trial. They were estimated at £10,000 and security was ordered for £8,500. The second application was in respect of the costs of the trial - expected to take 15 days. The estimated costs on that basis were put at £30,000, £20,000 further security was ordered.
