Stay of action - Motion dismissed
Cargo was loaded at Barton-on-Humber for carriage to Rotterdam. The defendants issued clean bills of lading. The cargo was
transhipped into a barge and delivered at Frankfurt. A survey carried out the next day indicated that the cargo had been contaminated
on the first leg of the voyage. The resulting loss to the cargo owners was £1,000.
