Fishing vessel’s crew flex mussels in East Anglian fishing grounds - Whether quota exceeded

The Boston Deeps Fishery and the Lynn Deeps Fishery are two fisheries in the Wash where fishermen go to collect shellfish, especially mussels. The collection of shellfish is controlled by Act of Parliament and statutory instrument to protect the fisheries from over-fishing. A mussel quota regulation made by the Eastern Sea Fisheries Joint Committee on 26 August 1981 (as amended by a written authority issued on 27 August 1982) provided that:
