Road Traffic Act, 1930, Sects. 35 (1), 36 (5), 112 (3)-Appellants convicted of issuing a certificate of insurance which was to their knowledge false in a material particular-Policy against third-party risks in force-Renewal date June 3- Premium paid June 11 - Certificate issued describing commencement of
insurance as June 3-Held, that even if the certificate was false in any material particular (which was doubted by Avory and Hawke, JJ.) there was certainly no falsity to the knowledge of the appellants, who had merely taken a mistaken view of the Act - Appeal allowed-Conviction quashed.
